not much on the docket today, but will play a few of the late races....

r5: look for general zod to run better in his second time back from a layoff. he gets a big rider upgrade to nuesch and at 20/1, he's worth a few bucks.

r5: slewston. this is a very competitive option claiming affair and i'll take 8/1 on this recent sadler trainee, notwithstanding the aforementioned david nuesch coming aboard.

r6: savage. i've made a ton of money wagering on lobo turfers and this one looks like he'll go off at a big number with the presence of recordado and tradition rocks.

r7: life's pleasures. off the short break for bray, i think pval will have this one a little bit closer to the pace than his previous. if he's fit he should be competitive- would normally be concerned with a comebacker going a route without a sprint prep, but this one has never sprinted and looks like he can run all day.

General Zod is racing in the 4th today and Ryan is replacing Nuesch...I wondered who could have possibly ridden this horse before where you would consider Nuesch an upgrade! LOL
